Dyad Study - Managers

Employees and managers can influence each other in terms of their performance, motivation and health. Various studies have shown that leadership behaviour, for example, makes a significant contribution to the performance, motivation and mental well-being of employees. Among other things, role clarity, a good work-life balance and a supportive and trusting working environment can be positively influenced by good leadership behaviour. The increasingly complex world of work (New Work) is leading to constantly growing and changing demands to which employees and managers alike are exposed. Individual recovery is therefore of particular importance. Our dyad study takes a holistic approach, analysing private and work-related resources and stressors. In particular, social influences between managers and employees are taken into account.
- Topic of the study: Social influence in work and private life
- Study design: Diary and weekly diary study
- Processing time: Preliminary survey (approx. 45 min), then 3 short questionnaires (approx. 4-8 min) on each of 10 working days, one short questionnaire (approx. 4-8 min) in each of the next 3 weeks
- Survey period: From February 2021
At the end of the study, each participant has the opportunity to receive individual feedback on the topics of psychological well-being, stressors at work and personal resources.
Our research results will then be published in relevant specialist journals. This is done in anonymised form. It is not possible to draw any conclusions about you personally.
